PMP Acquired

I have to admit that I was somewhat nervous going into my test. I knew that I was going to spend the time in-between terms for my bachelors to study and take the PMP exam. Since I have decided that my path lies in project management this has been a goal on the horizon for quite some time.

I had taken and passed the CAPM exam last summer, so the knowledge was fresh in my head as far as the primary domain and ITTO knowledge required for the exam. Knowing this, I focused primarily on mock exams to familiarize myself with the question formats. For roughly a week I would spend my time from sunup to sundown pouring over test questions, making notes where I needed to bolster my knowledge, and re-taking practice exams.

In the end however, I was able to pull it off, scoring a triple AT/AT/AT in the three areas of People, Process, and Business environment. Iā€™m very happy to now say that I am one of the many members of the PMP club.
