In the summer of 2018 I found myself wanting a new hobby.

I had known about leather working from an acquaintance of mine, and I though that it would be an ideal hobby to have something that would occupy my free time, keep my hands busy, and it would be one of those hobbies that leaves you with wonderful little gifts you can give out that are handmade and very meaningful.

Over the course of the next year I immersed myself in youtube tutorials, read numerous message boards from grandpas describing the arcane methods they used to do different techniques, drooled over high end tools and machines that I was not even close to being able to afford, let alone had space for. I eventually reached a point that I was satisfied with my work, and others had given me enough acclaim that I opened a booth and would sell my wares periodically at local farmers markets and small fairs. This unfortunately came to an end when the pandemic hit in 2020. Having a dedicated leather workshop has been a life goal of mine ever since.
